Traffic Control Technician - Highway Construction

Ledcor is now hiring an experienced Traffic Control Technician to work alongside our Highway Construction team on various projects throughout Alberta. You are a team player who ensures the well-being of others and lends a hand where needed.

Essential Responsibilities

• Ensuring that all safety procedures and protocols are followed
• Setting up closures with adequate signage, barricading and cones, lane markings
• Safely maintain and monitor all closures
• Removing and relocating traffic equipment as needed
• Performing flagging activities to safely direct vehicles, heavy equipment and foot traffic for the safety of road users and work crews in a construction environment
• Completing daily traffic inspections and reports
• Safely driving the buffer truck
