Redstone Commodity Search focuses on offering 360° search solutions to the global commodities markets, providing competitive coverage across Trading Houses, Producers, Majors, Utilities, Merchants, Hedge Funds, Investment Banks and Brokerages. We are working with a global commodity trading house that is looking to hire an operator to join its team in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks
  • You will be responsible for managing trade operations for the company’s dry bulk raw materials trading business (steam coal, coking coal, pet coke, metals)
  • Work closely with the trading, finance, trade execution, chartering and accounting functions to ensure a smooth end to end process
  • Draft and process contracts and documentation for shipping and letters of credit (sales and purchase)
  • Calculate laytime and negotiate demurrage settlements
  • Report to VP of Operations / Regional Operations Manager
