About the role:

In this Electrical Tradesperson position, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and repairing locomotives, rail cars, wagons, plant, and infrastructure to keep them safe, reliable, and ready for service. Your work will directly support the efficient operation of freight services by:

• Performing routine and corrective maintenance and fault repairs using best practices.
• Adhering to Workplace Health and Safety (WH&S) regulations and technical specifications.
• Keeping accurate records and documentation of asset conditions, maintenance activities, and costs.
• Reporting completed work against the scheduled program.
• Contributing to the development and enhancement of work procedures for continuous quality improvement.
