We are seeking a trade assistant to join our client who specializes in steel production and distribution, located in Hope Valley, working on a day shift Monday to Thursday 5am to 1:30pm and Fridays finishing at 11:30am, this offers a pay rate of $35 per hour (inclusive of 25% casual loading).

Key responsibilities:

• Assist machine operators on the workshop floor
• Perform manual handling tasks and clean steel parts
• Operate forklifts to transport steel plates
• Use hand tools including oxy cutters, tack welders, gas torches, disc grinders, and scrapers
• Mark parts with paint for identification
• Complete basic admin paperwork and QA checks
