The Tour Guide Trainer is responsible for training, developing, evaluating, and continuously improving tour guides’ performance. This role ensures all guides meet the organization’s quality, content, safety, and service standards while delivering exceptional visitor experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver training programs for new and existing tour guides.
- Develop training materials including scripts, manuals, presentations, and assessments.
- Train guides on storytelling techniques, visitor engagement, and communication skills.
- Ensure guides have accurate and up-to-date knowledge of the site, history, and narratives.
- Conduct practical field training, shadowing, and live tour evaluations.
- Assess guide performance and provide structured feedback and coaching.
