Toolmaker

We are seeking a skilled, attention to detail and motivated tool maker to join our client’s dynamic and skilled team in Durban.

Key Responsibilities: Manufacture, repair, maintain, and modify tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and related production equipment. Interpret and work from technical drawings, engineering specifications, and manufacturing instructions. Operate and maintain conventional machining equipment, including lathes, milling machines, grinders, and drilling machines. Operate CNC machinery and programming software where applicable. Utilise Autodesk Fusion 360 or similar CAD/CAM software for tooling design and modifications. Conduct inspections and measurements to ensure tooling meets quality standards and specified tolerances. Troubleshoot tooling and production issues to minimise downtime and improve operational efficiency.
