Key Responsibilities Manufacture, maintain, repair, and modify production tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures. Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on press tools and plastic injection moulding tools. Operate conventional toolroom machinery to manufacture precision tooling components. Support production by ensuring tooling is maintained to minimise downtime and maximise efficiency. Diagnose tooling issues and carry out effective repairs and modifications. Read and interpret engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances. Ensure all tooling complies with quality, safety, and production standards. Minimum Requirements Valid Toolmaker Trade Certificate. Basic knowledge of press tools. Basic knowledge of plastic injection moulding tools. Experience operating the following toolroom machinery: Milling Machine Lathe Surface Grinder Spark EDM Tool and Cutter Grinder Basic CNC machining experience will be advantageous.
