Job Overview

Position : Tooling Manager (Manufacturing AL&S team)

Location : Cd. Juarez, Mex; Plant 1.

Reports to : Plant Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Tool Room staff and ensure compliance with plant safety regulations.
  • Monitor department performance metrics (MTBF, MTTR, preventive maintenance compliance).
  • Oversee preventive maintenance schedules and keep KPI charts updated.
  • Control departmental budget and coordinate with suppliers for mold repairs and critical parts.
  • Maintain updated databases and lead weekly meetings to analyze mold performance issues.
  • Implement improvement plans, update SQDCM dashboards, and ensure proper machine/equipment function.
  • Prepare damage and improvement reports, coordinate training, and guarantee proper mold validation and release.
