The Judge Group is seeking a Tooling Engineer for a manufacturing company located in the Worcester, MA area.Title: Tooling Engineer
Location: Worcester, MA
Salary: $80,000 – $110,000

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop tooling, fixtures, jigs, and progressive/compound dies to support metal stamping and machining operations
  • Create 3D models and detailed drawings using CAD tools (SolidWorks, Logo Press, CADKEY, or similar)
  • Partner with Tool Room, Production, Maintenance, and Quality teams to improve safety, quality, throughput, and tool life
  • Support quoting activities by providing tooling concepts, layouts, and technical input
  • Troubleshoot tooling and process issues on the shop floor and implement corrective actions
  • Lead and manage tooling modifications, repairs, and performance improvements
