Tooling Administrator

Job scope:

• To check calibration list regularly to ensure that calibratable tools & GSE have not passed their expiry dates
• To remove tools from service before the expiry dates and send to the vendor for service or calibration
• Immediately report any discrepancies to the QA department and the Tooling Supervisor / Supply Chain Manager
• To identify tools and equipment shortages and notify Tooling Supervisor
• To monitor the serviceability of tools & GSE and isolate from service any that are found to be unserviceable
• To maintain security of the tool store by only allowing authorized personnel to enter
• To allocate and record the tools in their specific location before issuing
• To maintain an updated master tool & GSE list at all times
• To perform a daily check in Tool store & ensure that all transactions are up to date everyday
