Description:

Responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC boring mill equipment to machine plastic injection molds. The accurate interpreting of design information relative to build activity. Reading and interpreting blueprints and other product-related diagrams, engineering drawings, charts and tables; Operate overhead crane to remove and/or relocate molds to specific workstations/areas; Program computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools; Set up and adjust production machinery; Verify dimensions of machined tools and parts using precision measuring instruments.

Qualifications:

  • The role requires reading blueprints, verifying dimensions, and safely moving molds using an overhead crane while maintaining quality and safety standards. Swing shift availability is required. Experience in plastic injection molds. Use of CAD/CAM systems and computer systems are an asset. Licensed General Machinist (429A) is an asset.
