Responsibilities

  • The Design Engineer will be responsible for the following key functions: Delivering 3D CAD design and reviews according to agreed deadlines.Communicating with suppliers and customers for design and feasibility reviews.

    • Skills

  • CAD (CATIA/Power Shape)
  • Jigs concepts
  • Mold concepts
  • CNC machining
  • Knowledge of alignment systems
  • Measurement methods such as CMM and 3D scanning (PolyWorks)

    • Beneficial Experience

  • Composite part design
  • Automotive part design
  • Prototype building
  • 3D printing
  • Plastic injection design

    • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or related.
  • At least 5 years experience in a Design/R&D responsibility.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
