Introduction

Responsible for operating a Tractor-Loader-Backhoe (TLB) safely and efficiently, with specific experience in trench excavation for construction and infrastructure projects.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate TLB equipment for trench digging and related excavation work

• Excavate trenches according to site specifications and safety standards

• Ensure proper depth, alignment, and trench stability

• Conduct daily pre-start inspections of the machine

• Report mechanical faults or maintenance requirements

• Adhere to all health and safety regulations

• Assist with general site duties when required

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Grade 12 / Matric (preferred)

• Valid TLB Operator certification/licence

• Minimum 3–5 years' experience operating a TLB
