Job Description

Under the direct supervision of the Supervisor, the Title Assistant, in close coordination with the Title Advisors/National Commercial Services (NCS) Office, is responsible for handling various tasks such as, but not limited, to conducting researches, preparing reports, and reviewing legal documents related to title processes.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Searches title plant records to compile chain of title.
  • Uses research to create and maintain files, records, and reports.
  • Audits calculations and legal documents for accuracy.
  • Satisfies policy requirements by communicating recording information, preparing legal property documents, examining reports, and following title practices to meet business demands.
  • Obtains and verifies information received from client through calls and emails, and inputs validated data in client-supplied application to meet project specifications.
