A Thermo Extrusion Technician (often referred to as an Extrusion Technician, Operator, or Setter) is a skilled manufacturing professional responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery that melts and shapes thermoplastic materials into continuous products, such as tubes, pipes, sheets, or specialized profiles. They combine mechanical knowledge with process control to ensure high-quality production in industries ranging from plastics and packaging to medical tubing.

Key Responsibilities

• Machine Setup & Operation: Preparing, starting, and running extrusion machines, including installing dies, screws, and downstream equipment (cutters, haul-offs).
• Process Control: Monitoring and adjusting machine parameters like temperature (heating/cooling), pressure, and screw speed to ensure consistent, high-quality output.
