Therapy Assistant Practitioner

Are you an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Occupational Therapy (OT) Assistant Practitioner ready to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a dedicated Band 4 Therapy Assistant to join our expanding team to work.

In line with the national Experts at Hand (EAH) initiative , this role focuses on a highly responsive, embedded model of therapy and support. Instead of working in isolation, you will act as the accessible clinical expert directly within educational environments, collaborating with teachers, families, speech & language therapists, and educational psychologists to provide early, localised intervention for children with Occupational Therapy needs.

You will work alongside a Highly Specialist and a Senior OT.

Therapy assistant practitioners support the development of the EAH, working to embed targeted interventions and coaching teaching staff directly inside mainstream classrooms.
