Job Duties & Responsibilities

. Assist therapists in assessing patients' status for suitability to start therapy sessions or continue with therapy sessions.

. Assist therapists in carrying out treatment plans either individually or in a group setting.

. Communicate relevant information regarding therapy sessions timely, e.g. vital signs, symptoms.

. Educate clients on the use of therapeutic aids or assistive devices as prescribed by therapists.

. Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic interventions as instructed by therapists.

. Maintain cleanliness and safety of therapy areas, including inventories and equipment for the department.

. Participate in quality improvement initiatives.

. Perform therapy plans as instructed by therapists.

. Prepare patients, materials and equipment for therapy.
