Theatre Stage Technician

Responsibilities

• Assist with stage and backstage operations during rehearsals and performances
• Install rigging, lighting, sound equipment, and scenery
• Read stage layout specifications and blueprints to determine equipment placement
• Support performer flying operations and ensure safety protocols
• Perform maintenance and cleaning tasks in the theatre
• Assist with quick changes for performers and monitor microphone batteries
• Manage set changes and operate follow spots or other stage lighting
• Assemble and disassemble stage equipment, props, and set pieces

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years old
• Good level of English language
• Relevant ship experience is preferred
• Tactful communication with guests, department heads, and crew
