Job Summary

The Unit Manager will coordinate improved quality nursing care by ensuring compliance with professional and ethical practice, monitoring service delivery within a multi‑disciplinary quality assurance team, and overseeing capacity building, mentoring and training.

Consistency of Care

• Manage acuities and skill mix to ensure cost‑effective quality care.
• Control all departmental costs.
• Ensure correct billing, stock management and purchasing.
• Facilitate accurate and timely compilation of files.

Governance and Quality Management

• Identify quality improvement opportunities and develop appropriate strategies.
• Develop and measure Quality Improvement initiatives.

Risk Management
