Summary The Texas Division Administrator (DA) is responsible for providing executive direction over the activities within the Division to effectively promote, implement and administer one of the largest and most complex Federal-aid programs in the Nation. Responsibilities The DA serves as the principal advisor to the Director of Field Services - Mid-America and the Office of the Administrator on policy, program and technical issues, particularly with regard to the effect on Texas's Federal-aid program management and on Federal/State relationships. In addition, the DA: Provides leadership and direction over the administration of a highly diverse and complex $7+ billion Federal-aid highway program through the establishment of Division Office objectives, priorities, and timetables, and through the evaluation of program activities, issues, and accomplishments; Directs operations of the Texas Division Office in the advancement of public-private partnership ventures to fund major transportat...
