TestRail Admin: QA Workflow Orchestrator

Responsibilities

• Maintain the TestRail platform, ensuring it aligns with organizational QA workflows and project milestones.
• Manage user access, define global roles (e.g., Lead, Tester), and configure security protocols like Multi‑Factor Authentication (MFA) or SSO (Azure/Google).
• Create new projects, design custom test case templates, and set up custom fields to ensure consistent data collection.
• Orchestrate connections between TestRail and external tools such as Jira, Selenium Grid, Jenkins, or CI/CD pipelines to enable end‑to‑end traceability.
• Generate quality metrics and status reports (e.g., Property Distribution, Summary for References) to help stakeholders track release readiness.
• Perform health checks, patch management, backups, and audit logging for Server installs to maintain system reliability.
