The Test Technician supports production and service operations by serving as the first line of technical support for automated test stands, ensuring equipment reliability through structured preventive maintenance, and enabling consistent, high-quality testing of sophisticated communications equipment. This role combines hands-on troubleshooting, maintenance planning and execution, and operator training to minimize downtime, improve test performance, and sustain a robust manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
+ Serve as the first point of contact for test operators when production or service test stands do not perform as expected.
+ Diagnose and resolve equipment issues quickly to minimize production downtime and operational disruptions.
+ Differentiate between operator errors, hardware failures, fixturing problems, and software-related issues, escalating complex concerns to Test Engineering as needed.
