Test Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Test Engineer to lead testing for data migration initiatives from Informatica to dbt. The role involves validating Python‑based data ingestion, dbt transformations, and ensuring data accuracy across source and target systems. You will work closely with technical teams and support multiple migration waves.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the test strategy for data extract, load, and transform processes
• Validate Python‑based data pipelines for row counts, schema, and data completeness
• Test dbt transformations and reconcile data between legacy Informatica and dbt outputs
• Perform data validation using SQL and reconciliation techniques
• Review test results, track defects, and support SIT and UAT
• Coordinate testing activities with technical leads and SMEs
