NOTE: This is a 40 hour/week, fully benefited, limited duration position estimated to last between 6- 12 months. There is potential to transition to standard full-time employment. Work may be performed remotely within the contiguous United States. However, individuals who reside within a 30 mile radius of our Houston, TX or Corvallis, OR office will be required to be in office at least 4 days per week.
POSITION SUMMARY: This position directly supports the Test Engineering Manager. The Test Engineer is responsible for developing and executing test programs, primarily though contracted resources, that support the design, certification, manufacture and commercial deployment of the NuScale Microreactor. Test programs conducted provide technology maturation and risk reduction, technology demonstrations, and qualification of reactor structures, systems, components and instrumentation .
