We are hiring Termination Contract Specialists. They will provide expert guidance on the procedural, legal, and operational requirements for terminating contracts, ensuring compliance with USAID and U.S. Government regulations. This is a hybrid, full-time role working closely with Contracting Officers (COs), legal counsel, technical offices, and partners.
Key Responsibilities:
● Advise on terminations for convenience or default of contracts. Individuals must have demonstrated abilities to assimilate and apply knowledge on all types of award mechanisms quickly and efficiently.
● Prepare all required documentation for award terminations, including termination notices, determinations and findings, negotiation memoranda, and settlement agreements.
● Interpret and apply applicable sections of the FAR and USAID supplemental regulations and policies.
● Process actions in USAID’s contracts and financial management system.
