Temporary Works Design Engineer

Job Role & Responsibilities:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Temporary Structure Designer to join our bridge engineering team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing temporary works and specialized construction equipment used during bridge erection and related civil infrastructure projects.

This includes form travelers, launching gantries, scaffolding, falsework, lifting frames, and other consultant-designed equipment.

• Design and analyse temporary structures and equipment used in bridge construction, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety codes, and engineering standards.

• Develop detailed CAD drawings, 3D models, and structural calculations for temporary works (e.g., formwork systems, support structures, erection equipment).

• Coordinate with bridge design consultants, contractors, and equipment fabricators to integrate temporary structures with permanent works.
