Help students thrive as a Temporary Learning Support Worker. Partner with teachers to provide essential support tailored to students with diverse learning needs.
This role is set to run until June 25, 2026, focusing on collaborating with school staff to enhance the educational experience for students requiring additional support. You will play a critical role in implementing programs and advocating for students' success in a school setting. Your contributions will help ensure an inclusive environment conducive to learning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in program delivery for individual students
• Work with teachers to enhance student engagement
• Serve as a student advocate within the school team
Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 12 (Dogwood Certification)
• Education Assistant Certificate holder
• Hold a Class 5 driver’s license in BC
• 6 months experience working with children/youth
• Familiarity with WHMIS 2015 and safety procedures
