Location: Terrace Lodge

Position: (1) Temporary Full-time Adult Day Program Recreationist

Effective: July 20, 2026, to January 20, 2027, or until the original incumbent returns to graduated hours or full hours at full duties or appropriate notice, whichever comes first.

Salary: Per the Collective Agreement

Qualifications

  • Post‑secondary Diploma or Degree in Recreation and Leisure Studies, Therapeutic Recreation, Kinesiology or other related field from a community college or university
  • Good working knowledge of Peterson‑Gunn theory of Activation/Recreation.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in a geriatric’s environment
