Educational Assistant – Temporary Position

We are currently recruiting Temporary Educational Assistants to work within schools across the Thames Valley District School Board (Elgin, Middlesex, Oxford counties, and London). Selected candidates will be placed on a temporary employee list for long‑term assignments and will serve on an “on call” or “as needed” basis.

Applicants MUST be available to accept assignments on short notice and on a regular and consistent basis.

Educational Assistants provide support to students with physical, developmental and behavioural special needs in either integrated mainstream classrooms or contained classroom settings. Responsibilities include assisting with toileting, lifting, transferring and personal care, and supporting a diverse school community.
