Temporary Contract Developer (Python) – 6 Months

Our client is a local bank, and is seeking a motivated and skilled Temporary Contract Developer to join their development team. This role focuses on migrating legacy code and scripts into efficient, maintainable Python solutions, with exposure to real-world software development and data management projects in a dynamic environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse and understand existing legacy code written in SAS / SQL
  • Develop and optimise Python scripts to replicate or enhance existing functionality
  • Perform troubleshooting and debugging during the migration process
  • Document code and processes to support long-term maintainability
  • Deliver assigned project milestones within the contract period
