Responsibilities
Develop and check temporary works designs including access scaffolds, formwork, falsework, excavation support, working platforms, lifting points, and crane foundations.Ensure all designs and processes comply with BS5975 and relevant safety standards.Liaise closely with project managers, site teams, and design consultants to deliver practical, cost-effective solutions.Conduct site inspections and provide on-site technical support throughout project delivery.Prepare and review design briefs, method statements, and risk assessments.Maintain the Temporary Works Register and ensure control and sign-off procedures are followed.Requirements:
Experience working in temporary works design - ideally within energy, utilities, or infrastructure projects.Sound understanding of construction techniques and temporary works principles.Strong problem-solving and communication skills, w...
