Job Summary
The Junior Broadcast Engineer is responsible for providing basic technical support to the Daily operations of a television channel. This role focuses on learning, assisting, and performing tasks Initials related to transmission systems, production, content ingestion, maintenance basic equipment and support to the engineering, master control and production departments.
Main Responsibilities
Technical Transmission Operations
- Assist in monitoring the transmission signal ( on -air), including video, audio, and subtitles.
- Report anomalies to the Senior Engineer or Master Control.
- Support in verifying the quality of content before it goes on air.
Basic Equipment Maintenance
- Support in the maintenance and initial diagnosis of cameras, consoles, monitors and servers.
