Summary The Telephone operator position is functionally located under the Corporal Michael Crescenz VA Medical Center (VAMC) in Philadelphia, PA, Health Administrative Service Line (HAS) and reports to the Supervisory Telephone Operator. Responsibilities ***THIS IS NOT A VIRTUAL POSITION, YOU MUST LIVE WITHIN OR BE WILLING TO RELOCATE WITHIN A COMMUTABLE DISTANCE OF THE DUTY LOCATION*** The primary purpose of the position is to provide comprehensive telephone and telecommunications support to the VAMC and all associated sites. Duties will include, but may not be limited to the following: Operates the centralized telephone system to receive and connect incoming and outgoing calls utilizing complex computerized equipment and telecommunications software.
