Job Description

A Telemetry Technician is responsible for continuously monitoring and interpreting in-patients' electrocardiogram (ECG or EKG) readings, which measures the heart's electrical activity. This professional ensures accurate and timely transmission of cardiac data to the medical team, providing crucial information for diagnosing and treating cardiac conditions. The role involves working in collaboration with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to maintain patients' overall well-being.


  • Telemetry Monitoring: Utilizes telemetry equipment to continuously monitor and record patient's vital signs, including heart rate rhythm. Detects and promptly reports any irregularities or abnormalities in the telemetry data to the nursing and medical staff.
