Telemetry RN - Elyria, OH

Deliver critical care to patients recovering from orthopedic, neurological, and telemetry conditions in a dynamic medical-surgical telemetry unit. This role involves comprehensive patient assessments, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and implementing evidence-based nursing care in a fast-paced environment. The position offers 12-hour evening shifts with every other weekend and holiday scheduling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes.
• Administer medications safely, including insulin drips and cardiac-related infusions such as Cardizem and Heparin.
• Manage patients with advanced devices including PICC and central lines, wound vacs, and specialized airway support like BiPAP and High Flow oxygen.
• Read and verify telemetry strips using EPIC each shift.
• Coordinate patient care and communicate effectively with families and healthcare teams.
