Job Overview
CDM Recruitment are recruiting a Auto-electric Technician to join their clients in-house team at Manchester Airport. The role focuses on the installation, maintenance and support of telematics systems across a varied fleet of ground support and specialist equipment.
You will be the key point of contact for telematics installations and fault diagnosis, supporting sites locally and across the UK and Europe.
This role will require regular travel to other UK airports and a monthly visit to Belgium. Fuel and travel expenses are covered for any travel.
Key Responsibilities
Install telematics units across fleet and specialist equipment
Fault find, maintain and repair electrical systems in vehicles
Monitor alerts and system performance via telematics platforms (Targa desirable)
Respond to on-site technical issues to minimise downtime
Take ownership of installations from planning to completion
Provide technical support to local site teams
