Telecommunications installer

As a telecommunications installer, you are responsible for the installation and connection of fiber optic connections and cable TV services to properties.

Requirements

• A professional qualification suitable for the role (e.g. electrical or telecommunications)
• Understanding of the operation of internal networks and cabling (fiber and coaxial cables) in properties
• Knowledge of fiber installation and handling (welding) and the installation of basic telecommunications network terminal equipment
• Ability to perform measurements
• Ability to learn and absorb new things: you will be introduced to the role by more experienced installers
