Technologist, Technical Maintenance (Temporary)

This position will undertake engineering technology work specific to the technical maintenance program at the South Saskatchewan River Project (SSRP) or the Rafferty‑Grant Devine Project (RGD) as well as other infrastructure works as required. In addition, this employee will assist in the coordination of the technical monitoring program for the project.

The position will conduct geotechnical and cathodic protection monitoring and maintenance activities, engineering surveys and inspections/evaluations of embankments, concrete structures and other dam infrastructure works. You will also verify accuracy of all monitoring and survey data; perform relevant calculations in the field and in the office; compute, draft and review technical maintenance results: and prepare applicable reports, drawings, and other correspondence to ensure adequate documentation of work activities and/or project conditions/performance. ...
