Notes:
Performs and/or assists with various types of radiologic procedures, following protocols established by radiologists. Prepares, maintains, and operates radiographic equipment in a safe and responsible manner. Follows appropriate radiation safety guidelines. Produces quality radiographs for interpretation by radiologist. Takes measures to maintain optimal departmental operations. Follows procedures related to registration and EHR use.
Explains procedures to patients, positions patients and equipment, develops films, and maintains and operates specialized radiologic equipment in accordance with care standards.
