Technician Supervisor - Pharmacy

SUMMARY:

The Pharmacy Technician Supervisor oversees the daily activities of the pharmacy technicians and works under the direct supervision of licensed pharmacists and assists the pharmacists in preparing and distributing drugs, maintaining drug inventories and maintenance of records.

Pharmacy Technician (Pharm Tech) Supervisor - JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience: 5 year hospital pharmacy technician experience required. Previous supervisory experience required.

Certifications: Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Arkansas required. Current Certified Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) certification through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) required.

Other: Excellent interpersonal communication skills required to interact with patients, coworkers and other health care professionals. Ability to solve prob...
