Technician (Maternity Cover)

*This is a temporary offer of employment to provide cover for the maternity leave of a member of staff. The contract is therefore fixed‑term and linked to a specific temporary operational need.

Purpose of Job:

To provide technical, practical, and administrative support within the Design & Technology Department and Science Department, ensuring a safe, well‑organised, and efficient learning environment for staff and students. The postholder will also act as the lead of the Science Technician team, coordinating technician support, overseeing the day‑to‑day operation of the service, and promoting effective and safe working practices across the Science Department.
