Job Description
Purpose of the Role
To perform material testing activities in accordance with approved standards, project specifications and Bureau Veritas quality procedures, ensuring accurate testing, documentation and timely reporting to support quality assurance and project compliance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Material Testing
. Conduct routine and specialized testing of construction materials as per relevant IS/ASTM/IRC standards.
. Perform tests on cement, concrete, aggregates, soil, bitumen, steel and other construction materials.
. Ensure proper sample collection, identification and handling procedures.
2. Laboratory Operations
. Operate and maintain laboratory equipment safely and efficiently.
. Carry out daily calibration checks and equipment verification.
. Maintain cleanliness, organization and safe working conditions within the laboratory.
