Technician III

Position Overview:

Technician III will assist in maintaining, diagnosing and repairing diesel trucks. Technician III is responsible for performing preventative and minor repairs on diesel engines including but not limited to changing oil, replacing filters, checking and replacing belts and hoses. Complete minor repairs with little or no assistance. Essential duties and responsibilities will vary accordingly based on assignment. Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

Performs scheduled and preventative maintenance on heavy duty engines.

Complete repair orders for maintenance work performed.

Check complete repair order for accuracy. 

Document time worked on repairs and maintenance.
