:Reporting to the Engineer, Geotechnical, you will be part of the Environment Department. As this is a new position for Hope Bay, you are expected to be a self-starter, self-sufficient and demonstrate a positive, can-do attitude. You will play a key role in the planning, installation and maintenance of instrumentation associated with the management of our water management structure, tailings impoundment area, waste rock and ore storage facilities. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct, and the environment.
Conduct regular inspections and collect, compile, and analyze instrumentation and operational data to assess the performance of water management structures, including dikes, collection ponds, and channels;
