Technician Ballistic Experiments

About this position

What will be your role?

As part of the Personal Protection and Explosives Safety (PPES) department, you will be responsible for the preparation, execution, and reporting of ballistic experiments in our Laboratory for Ballistic Research (LBR). The LBR has access to various testing facilities, mainly focused on large-caliber weapons, small-caliber weapons, and vehicle testing. You will work in a team of specialists and have the opportunity to develop into an all-round range officer.

You will contribute to projects focused on research into improving protective materials, such as bulletproof vests, helmets, vehicles, or concrete structures, against ballistic impact and explosion pressure. In addition, you will help test protective equipment that is used by governments, among others. You will work in accordance with international (NATO) standards and under the ISO quality standard. Our work is project-based.
