Job Description
Job Summary:
To provide shore support to vessels by handling their day to day technical & operational issues in accordance with the company guidelines, class requirements and international regulations. This includes overseeing the daily operations of maintenance, Purchase & Supply of (spares and Stores) and repair, budget adherence, survey schedules, onboard general assessment of vessels, inspections etc. Escalate any 'noteworthy' deviations to management for further action. An efficient and safe technical management of the vessels ensures minimal incidents, down time and while meeting all stake holders requirements such as owners, charterers and other third parties.
Qualifications
MEO Class I – COC
Eligibility Criteria
Chief Engineer with Oil / Chemical experience.
Shore Experience Required
- 1-4 years experience as Technical Superintendent
