Job Title: Performance Engineer: Fix Core Web Vitals & PageSpeed for SaaS (Mobile & Desktop Focus)
Job Description: We are looking for a highly skilled Performance Optimization Developer to overhaul the mobile and desktop performance of our site.
Currently, our PageSpeed Insights (PSI) score for mobile is failing Core Web Vitals, specifically regarding Largest Contentful Paint (LCP) and Total Blocking Time (TBT). We have significant Traction, but our slow mobile performance is creating a Leaky Bucket for our conversions.
The Mission: Your goal is to move our Mobile PSI score from its current state to 85+ and our Desktop score to 95+ without breaking site functionality.
Required Specific Fixes:
Render-Blocking Resources: Identify and defer non-essential JS/CSS. Implement critical CSS inlining.
Image Overhaul: Implement Next-Gen formats (WebP/AVIF), proper sizing/scaling, and strategic lazy-loading (ensuring LCP elements are excluded from lazy-loading).
