Media Foundation is Meta's core platform team responsible for the end-to-end media infrastructure that powers billions of photos and videos across Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp, and Meta's AI products. The team builds and maintains the foundational systems for media upload, transcoding, storage, delivery, and processing—ensuring reliability, quality, and efficiency at massive scale.
