PROJECT OVERVIEW

The Meeting Targets and Maintaining Epidemic Control project, funded by PEPFAR and the U.S. Department of State, provides strategic technical assistance and direct service delivery to achieve HIV epidemic control, strengthen global health security and outbreak response, improve maternal and child health nutrition, and address malaria. In the Philippines, the project focuses on strengthening the Department of Health (DOH) and local government units in preventing, detecting, and responding to public health threats, with four technical areas: Zoonotic Diseases, Biosafety & Biosecurity, National Laboratory Systems, and Surveillance.
