Technical Lead – IBM i / AS400 Enterprise Wireline Billing Systems

This role is responsible for supporting and enhancing IBM i / AS400 applications in a telecommunications billing environment. It requires strong technical depth, leadership capability, and the ability to manage estimation, planning, technical delivery, production support, and transition risk across a complex legacy application landscape.

Strong hands‑on IBM i (iSeries/AS400) technical expertise across RPG, RPGLE (free format), CL/CLLE, COBOL, SQL/Embedded SQL, DDM, display/subfiles, DB2 for i, ILE architecture, batch jobs, and scheduled processes, with experience in development, production support, troubleshooting, and technical leadership.

Experience working with telecommunications enterprise billing systems, including Billing, Rating, Message Processing, Accounts Receivable, Ordering, and system integrations using web services and MQ.
